Lanjit follows Semantic Versioning principles. Before 1.0, patch releases should fix bugs without intentional API changes, while minor releases may include breaking changes. Every breaking change should be documented in release notes and the upgrade guide. Use a lockfile and run the test suite before updating production applications.
