Production deployment

Prepare environment, migrations, process supervision, and health checks for production.

Install locked dependencies, generate the application key, run migrations and tests, then start the process with npm start. Put a TLS reverse proxy in front of Node.js and supervise the process with systemd, a container platform, or another process manager.

Beta limitations

Sessions, cache, rate limiting, and queues are process-local. Multi-instance deployments require persistent replacements for state that must be shared.
